Shakespeare shakes the world with his incredible talent and genius.
He plays with the words like a child plays with plasticine.I find no word to explain him.As a word-master-i think-if he was alive, only he would be able to find words that describes himself.

This is a very beautiful sonnet! Shakespeare is writing to a woman about her outer and inner beauties, and how he sees her. He compares her to the elements of nature, which I think is wonderfully done!
I thought i would put this translation of sonnet 18 in for anyone who doesn't understand it
Shall i compare you to a day in summer
You are more beautiful and less harsh
In summer, there are strong winds that shake the flowers
Summer is only with us for a short time
Sometimes the sun is too hot for comfort
All beautiful things eventually lose their attractiveness
By accident, or through the passing of time, beauty is lost
your attractiveness will not be lost, however
you won't lose the loveliness that you have
Even death can't cast a shadow over your beauty
Your beauty is recorded in print forever
For as long as civilisation survives
This poem will keep your memory alive
Shakespeare begins his poem, “Shall I Compare…” by asking his dear love if he should compare her with a summer’s day. From line 3-to 8, he tells his love about the imperfections of nature which do not compare to her beauty. These are the imperfections: the winds are rough and unloving, as they shake the “darling buds of May (flowers), the summer’s day are not eternal, the sun sometimes is too hot – it does not keep a steady pleasant temperature, the sun’s complexion is ofted dark (dimmed), and every beauty in the world sometimes declines (nothing is foreever). In line 9 and 10, he wishes her eternal beauty; he does not want her to lose her beauty. In line 11, he wishes her eternal life; he does not want death to take her away. In the last three lines, he says that the only way one is remembered is through the printed word which will last foreever. As long as there are humans to breathe, to see, to live, she will on will grow old (his love will grow old) with the printed

He was the greatest writer in the English language and the world's preeminent dramatist.Shakespeare was a respected poet and playwright in his own day, but his reputation did not rise to its present heights until the nineteenth century. I think he was a very talented writer and everyone must read his poets and plays.....

It is a heroic poem.He made a lot of things for his country. It is a good poem even if there is much exaggeration. It reminded me our Battal Gazi.

Shakespeare! He is a great poet and playwright. He plays with the words very well and uses the language perfectly. His work has an important impression on later theatre and literature.

shakespeare's play fascinated me.ıt is romantic ,love play but it result in tragedy. The tragedy would not have happened ıf two families reconciled instead of keeping to their old quarrel. They reconciled but it didin't mean anything because ROMEA and JULİET had died. There was a pure love because of the social norms and families feud ,ıt resulted in tragedy.

Shakespeare’s spirit is not easy to understand. To understand his feelings or the message which he wants to give, it is required to be full of with real love, sentiment and pains caused by love…

shakeapeare made changes in english literature especially in language and meaning.for example,in romeo and juliet juliet is more sensible than romeo.it is very different and to understand, know his language before. HATİCE ERDOĞAN

I think this sonnet is very impressive.there is a rhyme form in this sonnet... Shakespeare used rhetorical questions ,and I think this makes the sonnet impressive...

This sonnet deserves its fame because it is one of the most beautifully written verses in the English language. The sonnet’s endurance comes from Shakespeare’s ability to capture the essence of love so cleanly .....

This is an amazing poem. It's so romantic. He's comparing a woman to an endless summer. Even when she dies, she will still be alive because the poem gives her life. Shakespeare starts this sonnet with a rhetorical question which he answers in the second line. The women he is writing about must be pretty because it sounds like Shakespeare is in love with her:))

Having an emotional character,I was deeply affected by the poem when I read it.Shakespeare touched my heart and soul,I did not experience such a case like Romeo and Juliet did,but still, the poem had an influence on me.
So long as man can breath or eyes can see
So long as lives this and this gives life to thee.
These lines of the poetry are the ones I like most!!!

Actually I have no words to express about this great personality... The way he has observed human life is amazing. He has a GREAT ability to scan the human mind, and also the language that he used is fantastic..:)

William Shakespeare was really a great man. The reason of this is that he knew how to explain his feelings on subjects. In his sonnet he described love with very emotional feelings.

Shakespeare... He does his job very well. The only thing that upsets me is that people in his time could not understand his value and importance of his works

Shakespeare provided lots of things such as words, poems, sonnets to english literature. Although he did lots of things people noticed this star after his death. today he is a well kwown playwright.

Shakespeare! He is absolutely very succeesful poet. He describes emotions very effectively; uses personification, metaphors and rhetorical question e.g: in'Sonnet 18' I was affected a bit in the lesson, because he wrote a very impressive poem.
